Content Strategist - Copywriter - Marketing Manager

Simon Breslaw

Hi, I'm Simon. Thank you for visiting my website.

I help SaaS companies reach their marketing objectives through fresh and subtle content strategies. In this area, I have a strong track record of leading product GTM and brand awareness campaigns.

I'm always seeking to make iterative improvements, whether nailing down the best marketing mix, coordinating the creation of campaign assets, or shipping high-value copy that pops. My professional experience spans a broad range of industries, including biotech, insurance, enterprise e-learning, Salesforce DevOps, and real estate consultancy.

A good content strategy builds brand awareness, fuels customer engagement, and helps drive faster conversions. I bring caring craftsmanship, friendly enthusiasm, and oodles of creativity to my job. What I enjoy most is working with others to flesh out intelligent initiatives that are targeted 'just right' to achieve specific business goals.

Simon says ...

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (the reference of choice for every good copywriter in SaaS) defines the marketing division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation as "a bunch of mindless jerks who'll be the first against the wall when the revolution comes". A footnote adds that the editors would welcome applications from anyone interested in taking over the post of robotics correspondent.

Unfortunately, that quote sums up marketing for most people pretty accurately - even more so in SaaS. Prospects want to play around with the tool and test out the UI themselves. If they like what they see, they might ask an expert for a demo. Nobody has time for the marketing bumph. Well, maybe it doesn't have to be that way. I've put together a few pontificating thoughts on the wider purpose, practice, and ethics of marketing in these videos and articles here ...
